The Sindhudurg Zilla Krushi Prathistan (SZKP) Trust is proudly led by Brigadier Sudhir Sawant, who serves as the Chairman alongside 10 distinguished directors. Brigadier Sudhir Sawant, a former Member of Parliament (MP), is a highly respected and well-known figure in India’s socio-political circles.With profound authority, interest, and expertise in a multitude of fields including Defence, Military Intelligence, Politics, Education, Agriculture, International Terrorism, Corruption, and Natural Farming, he is a beacon of leadership and knowledge. As an Honorary Brigadier (Retd.) from the Territorial Army, Brigadier Sawant brings invaluable military experience and strategic insight to the Trust.Throughout his illustrious career, Brigadier Sawant has held numerous significant positions and titles: Founder Chairman – Forum for strategic studies, founded a think tank in Delhi which examines National security and internal security issues.Founder Chairman – Krishi Vidnyan Kendra, Agriculture College – Agriculture Business Management College Sindhudurg. Chairman of Agriculture Trust. Launched movement of direct marketing by farmers – Organized Mango Festival in Mumbai. College first in Maharashtra for last 4 successive years. Chairman Maharashtra Night High School, Mumbai (90% SC Students) – largest night school in India. Consists of mainly dropouts form slums.
(d) Executive Director Farmers Parliamentary Forum, New Delhi founded by late S.K. Patil 1965. Represent farmers in Parliament.

(f) Founder Sainik School and Colonels Academy of Adventure Sports Amboli (Hill Station), Dist. Sindhudurg.
(g) Founder Ex-servicemen Cooperative Credit Society, Sindhudurg in 1991, it is the premier society which is graded as Class A, 15 branches, Rs 50 crores turn over.
(h) Founder First ever Sindhudurg Zilla Paryatak (Tourist) Sahakari Sanstha, first society in India. Took over MTDC resort at Tarkarli converted the loss making unit into profit.
(i) Founder Chairman Tourism Cooperative Concept of bringing people together; staying in each other’s home. Successfully run the first ever facilitation centre for passengers at New Delhi IGI Airport.

A very competent Electrical & Electronics engineer, a highly resourceful business leader, Satya is a blend of two major traits – action-orientation and people-skills and over four decades of industry experience at senior management levels bears testimony to that. He served as Country Manager, South Asia of a British Wireless company as well as CEO & Business Head in several other Corporates. He established Motorola as a leading player in the subcontinent for 25 years across radio paging, cellular, and 2-way radio technologies.
In addition, Suresh has consulted on Business Process Management (BPM), Business Transformation and Business Process Re-engineering & Smart Automation with fortune 500 companies like Citibank, Capital One, Banka Santander, TD Bank, Zurich Financial Services (ZFS), JP Morgan Chase, Charles Schwab, Royal bank of Scotland, Airtel, Idea, UPC Nederland and many more. He has worked closely with global consulting firms like Accenture and Boston Consulting group (BCG). As a hobby, he has a keen interest in following capital markets, agricultural farming, trekking and wildlife
He is adept at Regulatory management and Fund raising from domestic & international investors. He has dealt with national and international business practices and markets across US, Europe & South-East Asia.
