Natural Farming

Natural farming
An ecological farming approach that works with natural biodiversity, drastically cutting down farming costs. It encourages the use of local seeds and biomass, farming naturally without chemicals.

Nutritional Kitchen Garden (NKG)
NKG grows vegetables on a small plot naturally without contamination. It provides pure, fresh, and cheap meals near the kitchen, controlling malnutrition and improving physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Plant Nursery
Nursery involves plant propagation techniques essential for horticulture, producing vigorous and healthy seedlings/saplings for qualitative and quantitative food. Programs develop nurseries for horticulture, meeting the high demand for skilled professionals and offering employment opportunities.

Intercropping
In addition to mono-cropping, intercropping systems are developed for diversification, improving yield and nutrient acquisition. This practice grows two or more crops in proximity, encouraging biodiversity.

Village of Abundant
A model community promoting happiness and prosperity with sustainable technology to meet food, health, water, energy, sports, culture, environment, and waste treatment needs. It aims to enhance all-round development and create a self-sufficient model village.

Principles of Natural Farming

Diversified Cropping System: We promote a variety of crops to enhance biodiversity and productivity in agriculture.
Nutrient Recycling: Recycling naturally available nutrients in the field helps maintain soil health and fertility.
Biomass Recycling: Utilizing on-farm generated biomass reduces waste and enriches the soil ecosystem.
Locally Developed Practices: We emphasize practices based on local plant, animal, and microbial resources, empowering farmers with effective methods tailored to their environment.
Evolving Innovations: Our approach encourages continuous innovation based on factors like cropping patterns, local climate conditions, soil quality, and pest management.
By adhering to these principles, Jijau-Durgasindhu aims to foster a sustainable and resilient agricultural model that benefits both farmers and the environment.

Advancing Natural Farming for Sustainable Agriculture

At Jijau-Durgasindhu, we are committed to promoting natural farming practices that align with environmental sustainability while enhancing agricultural productivity. Our approach focuses on preserving the natural flora and fauna, restoring soil fertility, and enriching the biological life within the soil, all of which are essential for sustainable crop production.A key objective is to maintain and enhance crop diversity, which contributes to a resilient agricultural system. By encouraging the use of natural and locally sourced inputs, we aim to reduce reliance on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, lowering input costs for farmers and supporting local economies. We also emphasize integrating local livestock breeds into farming practices, recognizing their importance in creating a balanced ecosystem.Efficient utilization of land and natural resources is central to our philosophy, ensuring every aspect of the ecosystem is optimized for maximum productivity. Our commitment to natural farming goes beyond agriculture; it is about fostering a sustainable future where the land is nurtured, farmers prosper, and the environment is preserved for generations to come. Join us in embracing natural farming to create a healthier and more sustainable agricultural landscape that benefits both people and the planet.
